Job Summary:
Senior Project Manager with prior MSO customer-facing home security, high speed data, Wifi, customer premise equipment (CPE), and/or video deployment experience. Prior wireless telecommunications industry experience is highly desirable. Responsible for managing the deployment of highly complex projects, including project intake, approval, scope definition, planning, execution, and closeout.
Builds and manages project teams ensuring quality control throughout the project life cycle. Manages project teams across functional areas which consist of exempt and non-exempt employees, and vendors.
Develops budgets, timelines, and ensures progress to plan, as well as tracking critical project achievements. Able to lead project end-to-end or operate as a supporting project lead within a program. Skilled at creating and delivering exec level presentations to senior management. Knowledge of customer-care/sales/retail organizational needs a plus. Accomplishes project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities. Develops financial and operational objectives. Ensures operational plans are aligned with business objectives. Contributes to functional strategy development. Has a greater degree of impact on business results, and typically manages one or more groups of professional employees.
Core Responsibilities:
-Develops, maintains, and manages detailed project plans, action item registers, and major milestone timelines for all assigned projects.
-Manages project status reports in the form of formal briefings, project update meetings, and written, electronic, and graphic reports.
-Uses formal processes and tools to manage project, resources, budgets, risks, and changes. Recommends new process and tools to achieve advanced project management.
• Works with various senior managers and leaders to lay out project implementation guidelines and plan for manpower and/or other resource requirements.
• Evaluates outside service providers or contractors; provides direction in the development of tailored services; negotiates contract terms and conditions.
-Creates and maintains process workflow documents to support business needs.
-Instructs team on project-specific assignments.
-Manages all assigned projects to completion ensuring on-time delivery, meeting of budgetary demands, and maintaining overall project ownership.
-Acts as a single point of contact for project status.
-Maintains communication with stakeholders.
-Facilitates and leads project meetings.
-Addresses problems through risk management and contingency planning and presents solutions and/or options to executive management.
-Ensures effective implementation of solutions/changes.
-Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Directs project teams in the development and implementation of project plans.
• Maintains project reports and distribution of project timelines.
• Instructs team on project-specific assignments.

• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Job Specification:
• Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
• Generally requires 8-11 years related experience
