Job Description and Responsibilities:

Wynn Las Vegas is seeking a highly skilled, passionate and engaging training professional who would be responsible for the delivery of employee, supervisory training and development.
Job Responsibilities:
• Facilitates property wide training to include new hire orientation, leadership training, systems, service, division-wide training, department-wide training and annual compliance training.
• Designs and produces training aids (i.e. case studies, simulations, games, exercises, etc.) and support material.
• Assists with monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs through knowledge and performance assessment, and provide recommendations for improvement as needed.
• Consults with internal partners, in conjunction with Learning & Development team management and members, to identify technical and guest service training needs and formulate training tools and processes to meet those needs.
• Works with Learning & Development Manager and team to ensure all training materials are accurate and well maintained.
• Work with team to manage training room scheduling property-wide, provide upkeep of training rooms or report damage, and communicate with IT to install updates to software in computer labs.
• Assists with reporting on training classes including data entry, storage of training acknowledgements, ordering supplies and organization within department facilities.
• Collaborates with Wynn Resorts training partners to share best practices and resources when possible.
• Provides variety of project management including establishing and meeting timelines, attention to detail and follow-through.
• Performs additional responsibilities as needed or requested.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Human Resources or related field and 3-5 years of training/facilitating experience or hotel/casino operations experience (or an equivalent combination of training, education and professional experience).
• Proven ability to engage adult learners using a variety of activities based on adult learning principles.
• Experience with consistently facilitating to large groups.
• Leadership training experience.
• Practical experience with training assessment, creative instructional design, and evaluation.
• Must have exceptional communication and facilitation skills, both verbal and written, with the proven ability to communicate to all levels of the organization.
• Strong organization, planning and project management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software to include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must be able to work a flexible work schedule to support a 24/7 operation.
• Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
• Must model the ideal professional and polished appearance required by company guidelines.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• More than 5 years’ experience in training and development.
• Extensive knowledge of luxury service standards strongly preferred.
• Previous management experience.
• Experience working with training design software (i.e. Articulate) and Learning Management Systems.
• L&D certifications and/or affiliations.
