Executive Producer, Road Dog Trucking
Position Type: Regular - Full-Time
Position Summary:
This Executive Producer will be responsible for all aspects involved in producing successful daily talk shows on Sirius XM Road Dog Trucking including studio/technical operations, promotion, production, guest booking, call-screening and research.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Book studio and telephone interviews, conduct pre-interviews with guests and prepare pre materials for host.
• Collaborate with hosts, and senior members of the programming team to generate interesting show topics and guests that will create lively dialogue that engages the interests of the audience.
• Manage the operations of the channel, including imaging, remotes, and fill-in hosts.
• Develop the brand of the channel.
• Oversee the social media presence for the shows.
• Plan segments, topics and develop editorial calendar for the channel.
• Develop contests and promotions and ensure proper execution.
• Contribute specials and event coverage in addition to regular daily shows.
• Follow format and provide hosts with feedback.
• Meet with the Director of the channel on a weekly basis to review and establish on-going goals for the channel.
• Promote the show, the channel and the company positively on and off the air to maximize the growth of subscribers and listeners.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Responsible for day to day supervision of Associate Producer and Producer on the channel, as well as on-air talent.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant experience.
• Previous production experience within radio and/or live studio environment preferred.
Requirements and General Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.
• Ability to project professionalism over the phone and in person.

• Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
• Spelling, grammar, proofreading and editing skills.
• Creative writing ability.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Technical Skills:
• Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Solid production skills with a strong working knowledge of audio equipment necessary for on-air and production execution.
