Content Marketing Manager - AEC
POSITION OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Create and maintain content processes, standards, distribution plans and timelines, leveraging digital platform solutions to manage the AEC editorial calendar and coordinate contributors
• Create and manage a library of content, spanning multiple audiences and personas, at all stages of the buyer's journey—from awareness, to consideration, to close
• Champion the reuse and derivation of content and implement processes for tracking the ROI of content investments
• Collaborate across the functional areas of Marketing (Industry Marketing, Thought Leadership, Campaign Development, Demand Generation, Brand and PR, Technical Marketing, Sales Enablement, etc) and mobilize people to assist in the production of content
• Ensure content is applicable in multiple geographies, and work with global marketers to uncover local content that has potential for global adoption.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• 4-year degree with a minimum of 3-7 years content marketing, demand generation, or campaign development experience in B2B software and SaaS
• Proven track record of driving a successful content strategy across channels
• Strong storytelling skills translatable across many mediums, and a solid portfolio with incredible content and measurable results
• Excellent project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to get the job done
• Proven ability to think strategically and execute methodically with strong attention to detail
• Proven ability to influence matrix management peers and superiors
• History of teamwork and willingness to roll up ones’ sleeves to get the job done
• Experience in a wide range of inbound and outbound marketing disciplines, including social media (especially LinkedIn and Facebook), organic and paid search, retargeting, direct marketing, event marketing, and advertising
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with Salesforce.com and business analytics tools such as Domo, QlikView or Tableau
• Experience developing and executing demand generation campaigns with a marketing automation platform such as Marketo
• Knowledge of B2B sales cycle and how to identify opportunities to maximize demand creation, pipeline contribution and sales opportunity acceleration
• Experience working across global teams is desirable
• Understanding of the AEC industry and customers is highly desirable
• Travel required up to 10%
