Position Overview
Canon Latin America is currently seeking a Product Planning Specialist (Budget and Admin. Specialist) to be responsible for creating and implementing product administration control of Canon BISG products for the Latin American Market.
Responsibilities
• Perform analysis of the market data.
• Research the market based upon technology, social, economic, and environmental trends.
• Analyze the market data for Canon and competitor's to create forecast.
• Procurement / Sales / inventory control: create the purchasing plan by looking at past results and inventories.
• Control the inventory level to keep the company's balance sheet in check.
• Enhance the business process
• Manage PSI, budget control, order processing control, commission control, target achievement control.
• Revise workflow processes in accordance with the SOX regulations, collaborating with IT
• Control the business process on the daily operation, setting up the dealer, prices, products in the system, following up with the budget, price and inventory.
• Prepare the monthly and yearly performance reports to CUSA management, Canon Inc, dealers, AE.
Qualifications
• A bachelor's degree is required or a minimum of 3 years progressive experience in business management, strategic planning, management consulting related to the Latin America markets.
• Must have excellent analytical, decision-making, project management, planning and organizational skills, as well as superior communication and presentation skill.
• Strong relationship building abilities and negotiation skills, and creativity are required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint are required.
• Strong math ability is required
• Must be willing to travel 10 - 15%.
• Bilingual in Spanish would be a plus.
