Job Summary:
Assist Game Development Art Team to ensure the integrity and quality of game art is of high standard across a variety of jurisdictions. Work with senior team members to service global development teams through timely execution of a variety of tasks. The assignment lasts for a period not to exceed 6 months.
Essential Job Functions:
• Intern will participate in game asset creation (layouts, digital painting, animation, fonts, art translation) under supervision.
• Game asset archival and clean up.
• Digital asset management.
• Maintain and organize documentation.
• Work independently and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional attitude and work ethic.
• Ask questions and accept constructive feedback.
• Track time spent on projects, alerting management team to potential delays.
Position Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Required unless otherwise noted):
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to use critical thinking and applied knowledge.
• Deep understanding of networks, file management, and layer/file organization.
• Experience working in a team environment (preferred).
• Excellent customer service (retail or freelance experience preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Photoshop; basic knowledge of After Effects and Illustrator
• Experience building/editing web pages in Confluence/Wiki/Atlassian software environment (desired).
• Proficiency in MS Office software.
• Unity experience (desired).
Qualifications:
Education: Associate’s degree or pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS), focus in art
Vision: Close Vision, Depth Perception, Ability to Adjust Focus, Ability to Distinguish Colors
Physical Requirements: Standard Office Environment, work at a computer station
