As a program/project manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following activities:
• Managing the development of new products, or updating existing products already in the marketplace
• Fostering collaboration and teamwork between internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Developing detailed project plans to deliver project objectives.
• Proactively lead a team of developers to meet or exceed project objectives, with a forward-looking emphasis on mitigating risks and removing roadblocks.
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Perform continual risk management to proactively anticipate and develop plans to mitigate project risks.
• Communicate project information to team members and project shareholders in a timely and accurate manner. This includes weekly project team meetings, gate meetings, and management updates.
Must have experience managing cross-functional project teams in the development of new products, as well as experience in a technical role in developing similar products.
In addition, experience in the following areas is required:
• Solid technical background with understanding and/or experience in developing and delivering hardware and/or software products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Office.
• Results orientated, self-motivated team player, who is resilient and able to perform calmly under pressure.
• Experience leading, working and collaborating with international teams.
• Communicates openly and operates with integrity and respect for others.
• Experience with Professional Audio products is desired.
BS/BA in Engineering or applicable degree required, MBA or Masters degree would be a bonus.
Requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience in the product development lifecycle. In addition, at least 2 years of experience in project management or project engineering of related products from concept phase through mass production.
