Canon Solutions America Zone Marketing Specialists are the product generalist for all products within the Canon product family.
This position will be responsible for facilitating marketing programs and processes to support the Imaging Supplies portfolio and respective customers. The successful candidate will enable our sales force with the information and tools required to advance product sales cycles. This candidate will collaborate across the marketing team as well as the greater Canon organization to facilitate customer deliverables.

Responsibilities
• Collaborate with IS product management to coordinate sample book development and distribution
• Product launch – manage the launch processes of new products and releases and manage the cross functional implementation of the plan
• Sales enablement and support – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team, support with product expertise, and coordination of the sales tools that support the selling process of the Imaging Supplies portfolio
• Demand generation – execution and maintenance of website content in collaboration with product management
• Assist in developing specific marketing plans and activities for the zone to establish, enhance or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena
• Work closely with Corporate Marketing Specialists to gain knowledge pertaining to current products, new product announcements, enhancements and future direction
• Rollout of National Programs within the Zone and providing first line support for sales reps, managers and specialists within the Zone
• Oversee market research; monitor competitive activity and identify customer needs as well as create analysis of the industry trends
• As required, assist with developing local marketing programs with respective zone senior management and report results to the Zone Marketing Manager
• Responsible for the business development opportunities within the zone, including the on-boarding of new branches and development of existing branches and launching Vertical Market Initiatives
• Help manage the scheduling of product launches, kickoff meetings, training events, etc., within the zone
• Collaborate with cross-functional counterparts within the zone
• Work closely with Zone Sales Planning to perform analysis and develop programs for the zone
• Work directly with sales management to manage the development of Case Studies/Success Stories related to the specific zone
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in a product marketing and/or imaging supplies/large format media capacity.
• Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into customer benefits.
• The ability to drive results in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Strong presentation skills and influencing ability are a must.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide effective decisions based on sound judgment
• Experience marketing/selling media to large format, graphics, and/or commercial print markets in a B2B environment is desired.
• Ability to drive the implementation of programs and objectives across teams/functions.
• Some travel may be required
