Digital Designer- Marketing Services | New York, NY
POSITION SUMMARY
The Digital and Email Marketing Designer should have a sound working knowledge of design principles and direct response strategies. The Digital Designer will work within a team environment to produce comprehensive marketing materials (print collateral, advertising, email, infographics, web and presentations) from concept to completion. They will work on optimizing direct marketing campaigns towards conversion.
Responsibilities:
• Design Process and Knowledge
◦ Possess a strong sense of design principles, typography, composition and conceptual thinking
◦ Be able to display successful, trackable results of direct response marketing initiatives using email and landing page design best practices
◦ Understand and be able to implement email/web best practices
◦ Design and modify HTML emails from concept through completion
◦ Modify and update web page content, graphics and format utilizing Wordpress templates
◦ Produce advertising, direct mail, media kits, sales sheets and related collateral as well as email, Wordpress sites, promotional pieces, and presentations in PowerPoint and Prezi
◦ Manage project deliverables from beginning to end, with responsibility for meeting timelines from and commitments to stakeholders
◦ Continue to learn, explore and evaluate new technologies, and grow professionally

◦ Actively contribute as part of a cohesive and positive team
◦ Work with marketing department to refine concepts, layout, and copy for projects as needed
◦ Provide technical support and expertise to Creative Department
• Organization and Process
◦ Follow established production procedures; assist in refining procedures to make best use of time
◦ Organize and maintain departmental design archives for ease of access and use by others
◦ Assist in development, management, and file maintenance of graphic/brand standards
◦ Daily time-tracking and record keeping in ticketing system; time management skills
• Other duties as assigned
Experience Required:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3-5 years of graphic design and multimedia design experience
• Expert user of Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office Suite (including PowerPoint), Wordpress, Prezi
• Proficiency in user-centric design principles, web design tools, scripting languages and techniques desired
• Strong knowledge of the Internet, emerging web technologies, and web marketing best practices
• Intermediate HTML knowledge, including ability to troubleshoot raw code if needed
• Experience using Photoshop or image editing software
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, including troubleshooting and problem resolution
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Must provide samples of work or link to online portfolio
