Role Summary:
The Manager of Content Marketing will develop plans, digital and traditional assets, and content to enable Mavenir’s sales efforts as well as to promote the executive team’s thought leadership in the wireless network technology arena. Reporting to the VP Marketing, the role will be to work alongside the entire marketing team to create compelling content in all areas of the company’s focus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and manage a creative, fast, and responsive content marketing plan.
• Produce content from scratch, including quick-turn-around and media content.
• Develop and present new articles, blog posts, web content, presentations, and other assets as deemed necessary.
• Acquire comprehensive understanding of Mavenir’s market and help promote the company’s thought leadership.
• Present content to internal and external stakeholders as required.
• Conduct research and internal brainstorming to not only identify key insights, but also translate those insights into actionable marketing strategies, assets, and platforms for new and existing clients.
• Work effectively in cross-functional teams to support Executive, Product, Sales, and Marketing groups to edit and create new, unique marketing content.
• Creative do-whatever-it-takes attitude, adapting to an ever-changing and fast-paced environment.
• Lead Mavenir’s strategic story-telling using digital, multi-media, and traditional platforms as required.
• Build, maintain, and manage Content Marketing editorial calendar.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from a well-respected University, preferably with a focus on telecommunications, marketing, or business.
• Extensive (10+ years’ experience) in marketing, communications, product marketing, product management, business development, software development, and/or consulting at a wide variety of global technology firms.
• Strong entrepreneurial skills.
• Strong experience working with executives and Product Management in the development, creation, and marketing of new corporate strategies and partnerships.
• Experience developing holistic marketing content integrating elements of sponsorship, experiential marketing, social media, content production, and customer engagement.
• Strong analytical ability to deliver custom research and insights on behalf of Mavenir.
• Experience developing effective presentations, for internal and external use, including trade-shows and other industry events.
• Ability to manage multiple programs/projects concurrently.
• Superior written and oral communication skills.
• Expert in PowerPoint, Excel and Word and the Microsoft Office suite
• Experience in web content production tools and methods
