Description
Midroll is hiring an Ad Operations Specialist in LA! In this role you'll be an important part of our sales team, and responsible for helping with all phases of ad sales execution. This includes handling all aspects of the logistics of the ad sales process, from building proposals to creating insertion orders, touching up ad copy, and working on lead generation. In addition to this, you will have a part in setting up, trafficking, and monitoring digital ad campaigns as well as provide insight to the sales team on how to grow and optimize for optimal performance. This position reports directly to the Director of Ad Operations.
Key Activities
• Work closely with the sales team and Director of Ad Operations to assist with all phases of ad sales execution, including building proposals, handling insertion orders, sending invoices, building ad campaigns, pulling reports, optimization, and other aspects of the business
• Assist in processing ad sales
• Ensure advertisers are provided with the best service possible
• Generate new leads for the in-house sales teams
• Handle all available inventory requests for Sales Team
• Analyze campaign performance, delivery, and pacing to guarantee client's expectations are met and/or exceeded
• Provide support and guidance to advertising clients and internal Ad Sales staff
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Education & Experience/Certifications
◦ BA/BS Degree Preferred
◦ Professional experience required, 1-2 years in digital advertising operations including running, setting up, optimizing, and executing campaigns preferred
• Skills & Abilities
◦ Comfortable working with spreadsheets
◦ Detail-oriented and exceptionally organized
◦ Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
◦ Strong written and verbal communication skills
◦ Passionate about podcasts
◦ Excellent analytical skills
◦ Strong understanding of digital ad operations, platforms and technologies
◦ Background in Display ad serving a plus
