about the role
Mission / Role purpose:
Support the Import Export logistics Controllers by performing systematic, routine tasks that are required for the timely delivery of goods and compliance recordkeeping activities, as part of the Orange Business Services customer quote-to-delivery process (QTD). Be an integral part of the North America Regional Import Export Logistics organization within Customer Service Operations (CSO) enabling Network and Integration services line of business. Act as Support to all matters that relate to Import/Export US and International operation.
Key accountabilities:
Data Integrity and completeness for International and Domestic shipments
• Maintain current and accurate data in the internal databases used by the Import Export team (Coordinator, Manager)
• Use different vendor portals to track and trace international and domestic shipments: gather data and retrieve necessary documents
• Update internal databases with the obtained data from vendor portals
• Management of all documentation: Track availability of the required documents, send for review, acceptance, request for archival, confirm archival
Support to Compliance
• Following the designed process to gather, audit data and documentation
• Screening of all entities in denied parties lists for every international shipment
Reporting
• Communicating with customers on the status of shipments that are in-transit and provide reports regularly
• Activity reporting, at different levels, for compliance, performance and project management
Support revenue assurance
• Review and validate vendor invoices for performed services, alignment with expected charges and matching to the quotation
• Coordinate invoices received with Program Administrators and Accounts Payable to ensure prompt payment for all inbound and outbound shipments
about you
Knowledge and abilities:
• Ability to engage effectively with team members
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to do multiple tasks and solve problems in a timely manner
• Customer service oriented and doesn’t mind high volume of communications
• Strong sense of urgency while maintaining professional and accurate responses
• Process oriented and capable of following process direction and instructions
• MS Office suite proficiency: 1) Excel (data handling, comparison, reporting, formulas, pivots), 2) Word (version management, merging of versions, formatting)
• Very important to be thorough, have attention to detail and raise questions instead of making any assumptions
• Some experience with Logistics, Supply chain or Import Export is desired but not required.
• This role is mainly supporting team members so it’s important to have a sense immersion and be a Team Player
• It’s important that applicants are interested in learning the industry of supply chain
Education, qualifications, and certifications:
• Degree/certification in Business, or Supply chain is an added value but not required
• Work experience in roles that requires accuracy, and high level of cooperation
• Knowledge of import/export or Customs regulation is a plus but not mandatory
• Knowledge of business practices specifically associated with Data management,
• Ability to work, coordinate and manage vendors in related industries
• Flexibility to adapt the ever changing environment
Experience
• Minimum of 3 years in professional setting that requires the use of MS Office applications
Other requirements
• Based in the Atlanta metropolitan area
• Availability to work on site, from Monday to Friday in the OBS Atlanta office, 100 Galleria Pkwy
