Job Description
Job Summary:To ensure the successful and profitable operation of the assigned area, by delivering top quality products with excellent guest service. Merchandise Assistant Supervisors are required to interact with Guests, team members and supervisors on a daily basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Promote the sale of products with impeccable Guest service and ensure Guest satisfaction.
• Assist in training, motivating, counseling and disciplining of staff on a day to day basis to ensure team quality standards.
• Assist in ensuring that all policies and procedures pertinent to area are followed.
• Resolve Guest concerns that may arise on a daily basis.
• Assisting the Retail Supervisors with stocking, cleaning and tending to day to day operations of the stores.
• Assisting team members with cashier functions.
• Assisting with setting up of merchandise displays.
Additional Job Requirements:
• Must have good cash handling and customer service skills.
• Willing to actively approach and engage guests.
• Must be a team leader, able to motivate their team and lead by example.
• Available to work flexible hours during nights and weekends.
• Able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language.
