We are looking for a Technical Lead for the mobile Ads SDK, the mobile component that communicates with the ads backend to request, parse, and track ads. Many Product teams within Snap use the Ads SDK to add ads into the product experience and monetize their products. We are looking for an experienced engineer to own this component, build the roadmap, and work with the team to extend its functionalities. This role is based in our Venice, CA headquarters.
What you'll do:
• Design great APIs that delight developers
• Built the SDK in iOS and Android
• Lead and evaluate the technical tradeoffs of every decision
• Scope projects that require multiple developer resources
• Own projects from conception to release
• Spend~ 60% your day on coding, code reviews, and design
• Deliver operational excellence by identifying, resolving, and fixing root issues
• Build robust, lasting, and scalable products
• Collaborate and work well with others
What we're looking for:
• 4+ years of software engineering experience
• BS/BA in a STEM field or equivalent experience
• Technical leadership or management experience
• Experience in full cycle project development
• Experience with mobile apps, and optionally web technologies
