Music Management Company seeking an Administrative Intern to assist with day to day tasks.

Paid Internship: $12.00 per hour
Internship Duration: 3 - 6 Months
Positions Available: 2
Hours: (Part-Time – 20 hrs per week)
• Morning Shift: 10pm to 2pm
• Afternoon Shift: 2pm – 6pm
Administrative Intern will work in an office environment under close supervision of Associate Manager(s)/Production Associate(s) and Administrative staff on various office duties. Through the below responsibilities the Intern will receive training on what goes into the servicing of artists and artist management in the Performing Arts and Classical field. Responsibilities will include:
• Copy and scan.
• Data Entry.
• Formatting documents.
• Running office errands.
• Back up phone coverage for Associate Manager/Production Associate.
• Travel research support for flights and hotels.
• Update ticket counts.
• Call and confirm venues for showtimes on all TBD show times.
• Create tour books for all upcoming tours.
• Assist with creating invoices
• Update performance info (times) in Intrepid
• Scan DM’s / Contract and save in S-Drive
• Ad Hoc assignments as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Degree: High School diploma, associate’s degree or 2+ years’ work experience as an Administrative Assistant.
• 2 year of Administrative experience.
• Knowledge of the performing arts, classical music and the music industry.
• Verbal and written proficiency in English a must.
• Strong PC skills to include Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Outlook.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Team player.
• Ability to plan and prioritize work activity (in a fast-paced environment).
• Adaptable to changes in the workplace.
• Ability to interact with all levels of management.
• Ability to be present in the office on time.
• Must be a go-getter and reliable.
• People person a must.
