Job Description
Job Summary:The Group Sales team is innovative, driven, and friendly. ensure maximum productivity and support of company, parks and departmental goals and objectives. Your strong organization and communication skills will be on display as you focus on the coordination and support of Account Executives. As the Sales Coordinator, you will help to ensure the Group Sales team meets maximum productivity and support company, park, and departmental goals and objectives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Manage and update the Catering Schedule for both Six Flags Discovery Kingdom and Waterworld Concord
• Enter contracts and agreements into the Ticketing System and Sales Database
• Assist Account Executives in servicing and continued development of accounts and organizations within designated sales territory via Direct and Indirect programs
• Coordinate the daily submission and execution of reports, paperwork, contracts, tickets, etc.
• Professionally represent both attractions in all sales transactions and at related industry functions
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with other park operating areas
• Responsible for all communication to relevant parties regarding upcoming events, logistics and details
• Supervise seasonal staff
◦ Work up to six days per week to service Group Sales outings
◦ Willing to assist with all aspects of event set-up and clean-up
◦ Handle special projects as assigned by management
Skills and Qualifications
• Minimum of two years park experience preferred
◦ Proven ability to work independently
◦ Excellent people skills and ability to communicate effectively with others in both verbal and written form
◦ Computer literacy is vital to success
◦ Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job duties
