Overview
PIX11 is currently seeking an intern for the Morning News. This intern will assist producers in getting daliy broadcast on and off the air.
Responsibilities
• The PIX11 Morning News intern should have taken intro Journalism courses. They must have a passion for news, pop culture and social media trends.
• Interns will be responsible for working with guests, including booking guests, writing, working with segment producers on packages and pulling video for segments.
• They will have an opportunity to do some editing. Story research and planning.
• Interns must have exemplary phone etiquette. Interns must be on time to work.
Qualifications
• You must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• 3.0 or higher GPA
• Entering your Junior or Senior year in the fall of 2018.
• Knowledgeable on multiple social media platforms.
