What the job is:
This key role within the Ticketmaster Finance group will help analyze, develop recommendations and lead and guide the credit fraud prevention efforts at Ticketmaster.
Role will be to lead fraud projects which reduce companies expenses related to credit card losses from concept to completion by working closely with both business and product, technical managers on both Web site and front-end functionality. Develop recommendations for credit policy, fraud screening, loss forecasting, and credit limit utilization analysis.
• Lead projects to implement new processes to reduce credit card chargeback exposure
• Development, implementation, and monitoring of credit card fraud prevention procedures
• Assess current procedures related to credit card fraud prevention
• Prepare monthly reports of losses related to credit card fraud
• Work with credit card issuers and merchant banks to discuss trends and formulate best practices for implementation
• Advise appropriate management & executives on credit card fraud prevention related problems, programs, and concerns and make recommendations to improve operations
• Keep the company apprised of new laws and court decisions pertinent to company operations related to credit card sales processing
What a qualified candidate should possess:
• 10+ years of fraud prevention related to credit card fraud; finance or related experience is required.
• Experience in a high transaction, e-commerce environment is required.
• Candidate should have a background in data analysis, experience analyzing data from a fraud prevention perspective.
• Candidate must have a proven track record of developing and implementing procedures and controls that have led to a demonstrated reduction in loss related to credit card fraud
Preferred:
• Must demonstrate strong organizational, analytical and programming skills.
• Must be highly motivated, flexible, energetic, and attentive to deadlines and details.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced, multi-tasked environment.
• The candidate should have a strong analytical background.
