Finance Manager – FP&A, MCP (Manufacturing & Construction Products), DCP (Design & Creation Products), Non-Divisional Spend

Position Overview
The Finance Manager of FP&A Spend has four direct reports and works directly with Finance Directors and Finance Business Partners (FBPs) to track and forecast spend for 1) MCP (Manufacturing & Construction Products) division, 2) DCP (Design & Creation Products) division, and 3) corporate level non-divisional spend. This position requires a need for accuracy, adherence to deadlines, and flexibility. Effective communication, thorough self-review of your work product, proactive inquiry and the ability to collaborate well with a team are attributes that are required to be successful in this role. The position will report directly to the Sr. Manager - FP&A Spend.
Responsibilities
• Coach and develop a team of four (3 Sr. Financial Analysts & 1 Financial Analyst)
• Drive the monthly forecasting cycles for MCP & DCP spend
• Manage the corporate level non-divisional spend forecast process (i.e. bad debt expense, business taxes, company reserves, fringe, etc.)
• Utilize SAP BPC to track, manage, and report all spend (OPEX and COGS) forecasts
• Guide team in working with Finance Business Partners to track headcount including to-be-hired activity and provide ad-hoc financial analyses for fixed costs
• Own quarter-end activities including reviewing cross-charges and accruals as well as being the primary liaison between Corporate Accounting and the MCP & DCP divisions
• Lead ongoing projects including building new models/templates, revamping existing processes, and ad-hoc analyses that arise as the MCP & DCP business changes
Minimum Qualifications
• BS in Finance or Accounting preferred, MBA encouraged
• Ideally 5+ years finance experience
• Experience in people management
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Excellent skills in communicating, listening, planning, and time management
• Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Strong aptitude and expertise with desktop applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with SAP, BPC and Business Objects is a plus
