Vice President of Global Operations

We’re looking for a Vice President of Sales Strategy and Operations for our New York City office. In this role, you’ll support the Global Sales team with processes, policies, systems, tools, templates, and analytics that result in a higher performing sales team. You will manage a team of directors and help align and drive the adoption of the global sales strategy. You'll leverage your analytical skills and market insights to create actionable sales strategies and ongoing global forecasting and attainment reports. You'll set the metrics to foster a goal-driven sales culture. Finally, you'll partner with all levels of the sales organization to ensure desired outcomes are achieved.
What you’ll do:
In collaboration and under the guidance of the SVP, Global Sales Strategy & Operations
• Structure and manage a global team of
• Conduct ongoing analysis on competitive market and vertical/client needs
• Partner with SVP SS&O as well as the CRO to develop and implement a recommended customer segmentation plan and associated tiered sales support model
• Partner with SVP SS&O and CRO to determine overarching analytics needed to grow the business
• Partner with Sales Forecasting & Compensation Director to execute compensation models that reflect the overall sales strategy and team objectives.
• Partner with SVP SS&O and CRO for the development of board materials as well as quarterly & annual strategic reviews
• Partner with Business Intelligence to architect and enhance current CRM implementation
• Lead CRM improvement projects
• Develop reports and analyze sales data
• Partner with Sales Enablement to ensure Sales Training plan in line with market and product needs
What you’ll need:

• Highly discreet - in this role, you will be privy to confidential information
Your experience:
• 10-15 years progressive experience with a minimum of three focusing on sales strategy.
• 5 plus years of Salesforce.com
• Experience with sales, sales marketing or strategy at Premier Publisher, Walled Garden or DSP
• Prior experience implementing sales KPIs and metrics.
• Strong analytical background; ability to synthesize data into actionable
• Proven experience building models or analyzing data in Microsoft Excel
• Proven track record building and implementing new processes
• Ability to help implement quarterly and annual strategic sales account plans.
• Ability to partner with senior sales and sales ops leaders to help drive various sales initiatives.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent follow through
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
