Account Executive, Traffic
Job Summary
Manage the traffic workflow to guarantee commercials air on schedule and that stations have all the required campaign materials. The Account Executive, Traffic is responsible for scheduling commercial materials to networks and/or stations. This position also requires the Account Executive to be focused on accuracy in detail to manage several campaigns while meeting aggressive deadlines. Maintain a professional image within the company, all its clients, vendors and outside community.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
50% - Generate and issue traffic instructions to media vendors.
20% - Work with third party vendors to place production and distribution orders.
20% - Follow up with stations/vendors to confirm receipt of materials/manage revisions.
10% - Manage network clearance process/prepare estimates.
• Generate traffic instructions, deliver creative assets and ensure stations are aware of key commercial and flight information.
• Coordinate with broadcasters/destinations to verify they have all materials (traffic instructions and creative assets) prior to air.
• Work with the Brand and activation teams to ensure media placements are trafficked accurately while adhering to the deadlines.
• Prepare and place distribution orders with vendors to deliver creative assets and traffic instructions to the stations.
• Manage all revisions and station inquiries throughout a flight.
• Follow up with stations and vendors to provide confirmation of receipt of all traffic materials.
• Prepare estimates for distribution and labor costs.
• Manage the clearance process by distributing creative links to the network editors for approval.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel and data entry.
• Ability to handle high volume workload.
• Must work well under pressure while adhering to deadlines.
• Excellent phone manner with strong communication skills.
• Strong organizational and prioritizing skills with the ability to handle a lot of detail.
• Ability to be flexible and a team player.
