The role:
Helps plan and execute data management solutions that will assist in data storage, access, and large scale analysis as it relates to all of Blue Digital’s marketing needs. Role will have a direct hand in building databases, querying large sets of marketing related data, and helping devise persistent analysis techniques that can be maintained into the future.
What the internship is:
Data Management
• Help devise how to store large amounts of marketing data in a simple, easy to access system
Analytics
• Query large data sets to help spot pervasive trends that span many clients
• Develop methods for forecasting and extrapolating past data sets to predict future occurrences
What a qualified intern should possess:
• Enrolled in a BA/BS/BBA in Business, Applied Math, Statistics or related.
• Previous internships/related work experience a plus.
• Experience with analytical tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Access, or other big data software.
• Must be eligible for school credit/unpaid internship and able to supply a letter stating so from school administrator
• Must be able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week
