Job Summary:
Drives sales by building client relationships, developing comprehensive proposals and competitive pricing structure, managing an extended team of Account Executives, and working collaboratively with other market General Managers.
Job Responsibilities:
• Implements targeted, customer-centric initiatives that drive revenue growth by leveraging appropriate resources and partnering with key stakeholders.
• Drives for revenue goal attainment, both quarterly and annually through revenue reporting, projections and forecasts.
• Leads the strategic development of marketing programs and digital strategies to drive revenues and achieve business objectives.
• Proactively develops sales force through recruiting, selecting and growing exceptional sales talent, managing / coaching employee performance, and holding employees accountable against business and sales metrics.
• Cultivates marketplace insights that generate new opportunities while helping to grow share with the existing customer base of customers.
• Engages with a National Sales organization and their supporting teams to develop impactful and effective marketing resources.
• Works with Branch President, Sales, Real Estate and Operations Managers in a multi-market region to set targets and standards for revenues, productivity, safety, costs, regulatory compliance, rate and occupancy, inventory control and purchasing.
• Implements enterprise wide changes in policies, practices, methods, applications, tools and other standardization initiatives in the local market.
• Work closely with the sales department to prepare ideas and concept artwork for sales pitches.
• Develop advertising campaigns for customers and model results using graphic design software.
• Manage the layout, design and production activities to produce graphic-design artwork for clients.
• Design and purchase promotional items to help sell Clear Channel’s full service offerings.
• Discuss objectives, make revisions and manage assigned projects through to delivery
• Support the sales team forecasting by running quarterly reports.
• Research market statistics and incorporate into advertising campaigns (as needed).
• Partner with real estate and sales to suggest new locations and evaluate new sites (as needed)
Skills
• A strong sales talent mindset – exceptional people management and team performance experience.
• Knowledge of media and advertising industry, business cycles, and key revenue and expense drivers.
• Deep and broad business acumen with strong analytical, critical thinking, decision making and problem solving skills focused on achieved business results.
• Able to multi-task and balance multiple priorities.
• Has demonstrated leadership experience in large sales organizations, including experience building and developing a team.
• Has excellent verbal and written communications skills including delivering effective presentations and leading meetings.
• Proficient in Microsoft software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

Other Requirements
• Able to travel up to 15% of the time for periodic corporate meetings and industry events.
• Role based at the Clear Channel Outdoor office in respective market.
• Access to a reliable vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree required with a preference in business.
Work Experience
• 5+ years of leading a sales organization with specific accomplishments in strategic roles (i.e., empowering sales teams, building relationships with all levels of an organization, driving cultural change).
