SUMMARY
We are advancing HR analytics by driving the organization's use of Talent Management and HR data to meet business demands now and in the future. This role will be critical to Influencing and shaping the strategic use of Talent Management analytics throughout the organization and will be part of the growing HR Analytics community. Analyzes enterprise human capital data to generate insights on key challenges and opportunities and effectively communicates findings to senior management. Refines and promotes adoption of newly introduced enterprise Talent Management Dashboard and reports. Works with the Field and Business Unit Talent Management Community to build local analytic capabilities to drive evidence-based decision-making. Collaborates with HR Analytics COE, Enterprise Business Intelligence and key partners to ensure accuracy, functionality, and usability of reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Acts as a change agent and analytics champion
• Defines the talent information, reporting, and analytical needs of the company. Develops goals, strategies, and plans needed to achieve the vision
• Drives adoption of Talent Management Dashboard into the organization and refines algorithms of leading and predictive Talent Management indicators, partnering with Enterprise Business Intelligence as needed
• Collaborates with HR Analytics COE, HR analytics community and other key partners to ensure accuracy, functionality and usability of reports.
• Produces annual Talent Review Summary that informs the talent strategy for the following year and continues to mine the data throughout the year. Identifies trends and root causes to provide insights that inform decision-making
• Develops process assessments and metrics to track the effectiveness of new programs and initiatives
• Introduces new measures and predictive/optimization models that increase organizational effectiveness and performance
• Participates in key HR Data Governance initiatives, including planning for new technologies/tools
• Creates a strong Talent Management analytics community and promotes the use of a collaboration tool
• Provides analytics and reporting tool support to key users and ensures appropriate training resources are available
• Educates and coaches the talent management community on the use of data in decision-making and problem analysis, including interpreting and translating the data into actionable recommendations
• Supports regular reporting and ad-hoc reporting requirements while driving toward reporting efficiencies and self-service
• Fosters a collaborative work environment that creates an effective team oriented culture.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgement and discretion in matters of significance
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
• Generally requires 10+ years related experience and Human Resources data analytics preferred
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and facts, draw meaningful conclusions, and translate into actionable insights. Can easily communicate the underlying story and business impact by drawing parallels with external research and trends.
• Strong attention to detail and execution, good communications skills intellectual curiosity, creativity.
• Process improvement orientation looks at activities end to end and utilizes data to help determine why things are broken and where gaps in the process are occurring
• Customer service orientation (reliable, responsive, customer focused)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities while ensuring adherence to deadlines
• Experience with HR data software through the data lifecycle highly preferred
• Highly developed skills in data transformation, ETL and visualization
• Comfortable manipulating and analyzing large data sets with SQL
• Competency analyzing data with visualization tools such as SAP Business objects (WEBI and AFO),Tableau or Qlik
• Ability to apply statistical methods and experience analyzing data with a statistical tool such as SPSS, SAS, SQL, RStudio or Python
• Familiarity with at least one programming language such as SAS, SQL, Python, R or Visual Basic
• SAP HRIS experience, SuccessFactors and SAP HCM BW (preferred)
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Project management
