Job Summary:
The Workforce Acquisition Coordinator will support the Strategic Workforce Manager and Information Technology business group in Human Capital strategies and workforce planning. This role will assist and coordinate a variety of activities in support of the department with a focus upon recruitment processes and activities; building candidate relationships, onboarding, proactively supporting hiring managers with onboarding and new hire tasks, and program/system self-service adaptation. The ideal candidate is highly organized and task oriented with excellent client service and communication skills.
This individual will work collaboratively with our recruiters, candidates and hiring leaders to provide administrative support and organize efforts for our recruiting, onboarding and hiring processes. This position is a highly administrative, service-oriented role. The successful candidate will have a high attention to detail and be able to prioritize functions to meet due dates and deadlines. The Workforce Acquisition Coordinator will excel in a fast-moving organization, while managing multiple, high priority, competing tasks, as well as, other administrative tasks/ad hoc projects.
Key Functions:
• Work together with the talent acquisition team and hiring managers by assisting them in meeting the hiring goals of the IT organization
• Improve the candidate experience by providing immediate feedback on interviews and leading communication efforts with hiring managers and recruiters
• Assist talent acquisition team by using social media, job boards, internet sourcing, and other technical means to sources candidates to open jobs
• Conduct regular check in’s with active hiring managers during recruitment cycle to support the process with recruiters
• Provides guidance and answers hiring manager questions on creating new Job Requisitions and coordinates with Workforce Manager to ensure open Job Requisitions have been approved for posting/hiring
• Work with hiring manager to ensure a job description is created for all new positions and/or updated for replacement positions
• May assist recruiting partners with scheduling candidates for phone or video interviews and completing interview requests for on-campus visits
• Assist in the coordination of the IT internships program as needed
• Work with human resources & hiring managers to manage immigration requirements; gathering and composing documentation for sponsorships and immigration requests
• Assist in special projects as assigned
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of office experience in a support position preferred, recruiting or administrative support in HR or corporate setting a plus
• Foundational knowledge of human resources processes, terminology and programs
• Good working knowledge of Recruiting concepts, practices and procedures
• Experience in a high volume, fast paced work environment
• Exceptional customer service focus, including attention to producing high quality results
• Problem solving and results focused professional
• Well-organized, attentive to details and follows through on assigned tasks and commitments
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally; strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion
• Proficiency in Microsoft products including PowerPoint and Excel
• Workday experience is a plus
Education
Associate’s degree in Human Resources or related field and one (1) yr of related work experience in Human Resources or Recruiting preferred
