A. H. Belo currently has an opening for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, Digital. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of financial planning and analysis for the company’s digital advertising organization. Included in these responsibilities are: development of financial planning reports and models, preparation of monthly, annual, and ad hoc analysis and reports that are used in the company’s short and long term financial planning, financial modeling and consultation for business and investment decision support, analytical and reporting support for communication of financial information through senior management and ad hoc analysis of business and financial data for various company stakeholders.
• Assists the Vice President FP&A, Chief Revenue Office and others by providing financial planning and analytical support to the company’s digital advertising organization.
• Coordinates preparation and review of monthly financial forecasting of the digital advertising organization. This includes developing revenue, expense, staffing and capital forecasts. Coordinates with all financial and company departments as necessary to provide seamless financial planning deliverables across the organization.
• Assists in management of preparation, review, presentation and submission of the annual financial plan and long- range plans. This includes significant coordination, communication and project management responsibility, as well as interaction with senior management throughout the organization.
• Assist in preparation and review of periodic financial reports on a weekly and monthly basis, including sales pacing analysis, monthly Flash analysis and key performance indicators. Distributes, delivers, disseminates and analyzes reports and responds to follow-up inquiries as necessary.
• Assist in development of operating and capital financial projections for the digital advertising organization. Assists in development of business plans for acquisition targets. Is thoroughly familiar with discounted cash flow analysis techniques and tools used in such planning.
• Act as a liaison between the FP&A department, accounting department and the digital advertising organization.
