Job Description
KHOU Marketing Solutions is seeking an experienced Account Executive for the Automotive Sales Team. This position will focus on generating revenue for the station in the automotive category in digital and broadcast advertising. This position will be responsible for developing new client partnerships and maintaining, growing and servicing an existing list of active clients with opportunity to work remotely after an initial training period.
As a member of our team, you should have strength and knowledge in putting together creative and customized media solutions using a product suite which includes: OTT, SEO/SEM, social media, Cars.com, audience targeting platforms as well as broadcast media. Knowledge of the automotive industry preferred but not required.
This person should also be positive, highly organized and disciplined with a strong work ethic and have a strong passion to attain revenue goals.
Responsibilities:
• Directly responsible for closing sales and signing new business opportunities
• Develop, grow and service key direct client relationships
• Maintain customer satisfaction and accountability through a consultative approach
• Identify prospects and forecast revenue accurately
• Create and deliver high-impact sales presentations
• Remain current on automotive industry trends and marketing trends in traditional and digital media
• Meet and exceed revenue goals
• Fully understand technologies that are foundational to the digital advertising enterprise and broadcast television.
• Use Salesforce to manage day to day activity, pipeline and forecasts
• Other duties as assigned

• Minimum 3 years of account engagement in a professional, fast paced sales environment
• Proven track record of success
• Ability to work effective as part of a team and independently
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects effectively under deadline pressure
• Attention to detail and accuracy a must
• Ability to effectively solve problems
• Creative and able to adapt quickly to change
• Position requires strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong organization and time management
• Self-motivation and willingness to work as a team player are essential attributes
