Event Help And Event Coordinators needed for temp roles
$14 to $18phr
Event Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintaining a working relationship with volunteers, participants, vendors and venues.
• Understanding the complex needs of the events, and diverse supporters and donors.
• Planning event aspects and making necessary changes when needed.
• Ability to delegate event planning tasks to volunteers and participants where necessary.
• Plan, manage, and coordinate organization personnel, volunteers and other participants to the event.
• Coordinate and work with a team of Event Coordinators and Social Media Marketer nationwide.
• Coordinating event entertainment, including music, performers, and guest speakers.
• Attentive to the value of staying under budget while planning event specifications.
• Reporting progress, plans, and needed expenses to management.
• Issuing invoices and collecting donations in a timely manner, and creating comprehensive and readable financial reports.
• Making payments and retrieving receipts in a timely manner, submitting all receipts to management.
• Managing and overseeing events on the day of, including problem-solving, welcoming guests, directing event set-up, communicating with staff and other participants, and organizing vendors, and managing take-down.
• Communicating with marketing team to create effective advertisements for the event.
• Anticipating and planning for possible different scenarios.
• Creating sales opportunities for future events during client, supporter, donor liaisons and during events.
