Job Summary: SEASONAL position responsible for HR administration
Essential Job Functions:
• Pre-screen applicants, set up departmental interviews, follow up with supervisors and process new hires
• Assist team members with the on-boarding process, verify I-9 documentation and ensure that all forms have been properly completed
• Conduct New Hire Orientations
• Process all personnel transactions, including status changes, terminations, etc.
• Make badges, issue uniforms, and maintain uniform inventory
• Monitor and track work permits and ensure compliance with all workplace regulations for minors
• Audit payroll system, timesheets (Dayforce) and break sheets for accuracy and compliance
• Perform spot checks within the park to recognize exemplary Team Member performance
• Maintain team member files
• Track and report Team Member Attendance
• Assist with maintaining grooming standards for all team members
• Answer main office phone
• Assists guests questions when calling the main park line
• Other duties as assigned to support the park
Qualifications:
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to address multiple tasks and priorities in a fast paced environment
• Excellent customer service skills, ability to interact effectively with a diverse array of team members and desire to assist with and resolve questions, problems, issues and concerns
• Strong communications, problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Comfortable speaking in front of large groups
• Flexible schedule availability, including holidays and weekends
• Ability to work independently and as part of the administrative team
• Previous office experience preferred with strong computer skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Physical Demands:
• Requires sitting and standing for long periods of time, ability to walk long distances within the park and exposure to variable outside temperatures, including high heat.
