Job Description
Essential Job Duties:
• Comply with all Six Flags Discovery Kingdom policies and procedures
• Operate in a safe manner
• Willfully perform duties in any department at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom when necessary
• Assist guests while maintaining a clean and safe environment for guests and team members
• Follow all delegated and assigned tasks
• Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
• Identify cash variances and investigate the causes
• Interview cashiers to identify gaps in knowledge and training
• Perform audits in the field to ensure team members are following all applicable park policies
• Recommend discipline based on corporate and park guidelines
• Conducting Financial and Compliance Audits
• Review recorded and live CCTV for violations of company policy and the law
• Review exception reports for cash handling locations to identify potential internal losses
• Assist with park inventories to ensure accuracy
• Work with Loss Prevention Investigators to identify potential causes of loss throughout the park
• Provide training to park staff to reduce exposure to possible loss
• Assist Loss Prevention Management with other duties as needed
• Complete tasks as assigned by management that may be within or outside of general job duties. (Management reserves the right to add or remove duties when circumstances (e.g., emergencies, changes in workload, rush jobs, or technological developments) dictate.)
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must be 18 years or older
• Available Evenings, Nights, Weekends, and Holidays
• Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift and carry 15lbs with or without assistance
• Must be able to climb a 6ft ladder
• For safety purposes, the individual must be able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
• Must pass a background screening
• Currently pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice, Accounting, or Pre-Law (Retired Law Enforcement welcomed)
• Must be able to work harmoniously with other Team members and guests
• Must have strong verbal and written skills
• Solid organizational skills
• Must be able to work indoors with artificial lighting and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (word, excel, access, and power point)
• Requires training and certification as an auditor
