Job Description
Essential Job Duties:
• Maintain a positive outlook towards the park, Food Service and IPS Division
• Maintain cleanliness of the office including vacuum, empty recycle/ garbage bins and general cleaning.
• Assist with team members as needed while maintaining confidentiality of information being provided.
• Assist in maintaining all seasonal files for past and current years electronically.
• Monitor all seasonal employees to ensure compliance of attendance, grooming standards; and labor law and department policies.
• Assist field leadership with inputting employee schedules to ensure compliance of department standards.
• Monitor the Seasonal Labor Tracking System for minor and overtime compliance to include notifying the appropriate duty manager as needed.
• Answering a multi-line phone, taking messages, and transferring calls and returning calls as needed.
• Act as a department liaison to our vendors and internal departments to help resolve concerns and/or requests.
• Act as the department liaison for safety and cleanliness in all areas.
• Assist to ensure that field management meets predetermined deadlines of assigned tasks.
• Assist with park operations as needed under the direction of the department manager.
• Special projects as assigned by Food Service management.
• Create a positive atmosphere conducive to our company standards at all times.
• Work with and assist the Games and Retail departments as needed.
• Other job duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must be able to live the Six Flags Mantra and adhere to all grooming standards.
• Must possess excellent organizational skills and be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must be able to use independent judgment and effectively prioritize to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English both verbal and written.
• Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the primary job duties.
• Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel programs.
• Must have the ability to learn company specific tracking software, communication equipment to be used daily
• Must be able to handle documents, matters and conversations with extreme confidentiality.
• Must be able to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift, push, or pull 50lbs with or without assistance.
• Ability to demonstrate effective written communication to include reports, tracking systems, file notes, e-mail correspondence, and other required methods.
• Ability to maintain objectivity at all times.
