Assistant Project Manager, Ad/Promo - Crown Publishing Group
The Assistant Project Manager, Ad/Promo will manage projects associated with marketing activities including production of advertising and promotional materials, scheduling of resources, and monitoring of day-to-day project tracking while working closely with Marketing, Art, and Production teams. This person should be a highly organized, self-directed individual with excellent communication skills to manage projects for the Marketing Department from conception through completion in partnership with the Art Department.
Tasks and Responsibilities
• Develop a production schedule for marketing related projects; evaluate workload and process to ensure workload flows smoothly and assist with functionality across departments.
• Plan, schedule, and track project timelines, identifying any critical issues as they arise, by monitoring each project’s status through to completion; release projects to stakeholders upon completion and under deadline.
• Maintain and update schedule of assigned projects and deliverables in collaboration with marketing teams; delivering list for review in regularly scheduled update meetings on a weekly/monthly basis with various teams.
• Act as liaison and communicate project components to Art Department as well as Marketing and Editorial stakeholders in a timely fashion including routing of individual assets for copyediting and approvals from multiple teams.
• Where necessary, pursue missing information/components for incoming projects.
• Act as liaison to media vendors for deliverables in coordination with the Assistant Director as needed
• Manages billing in a timely fashion including any SAP required documentation.
This person must be able to:
• Multitask and efficiently respond to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
• Be collaborative and have the ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources within the larger company
• Have knowledge of the creative process
• Set and meet deadlines as well as coordinate deadlines with larger teams
• Have excellent communication skills
• Have Strong proof-reading skills
• Work conceptually and under deadline
