Job Description
THIS IS AN HOURLY & SEASONAL POSITION.
Role Summary:
To assist the public relations department with special projects and daily department tasks. Successful applicants will need to be able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Answer telephone; give information or route calls quickly and efficiently.
• Writing press releases and distributing to the press
• Coordinate Looney Tunes Characters out-of-park appearance program.
• Assist with media events, escorting media crews in the park, photo shoots, etc.
• Assist with planning and implementation of special events.
• Fulfilling requests for information on the park by media outlets and other organizations.
• Set-up Media and Charitable complimentary tickets.
• Other marketng related projects as assigned by management.
Ideal Candidate Should Possess:
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communicaiton skills.
• Some knowledge of Six Flags St. Louis park layout.
• Some prior experience in planning and coordinating events is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office products and familiary with social media (Facebook, Instragram, Twitter and Snapchat).
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure; ability to carry on several projects simultaneously.
