Job Description
The Supervisor, Paid Social requires the ability to apply detailed paid social knowledge to actionable insights and recommendations. This person will assist the AMD and Director in driving strategic paid social expertise within the team as well as helping to develop innovative strategies to meet and exceed client business objectives. The Supervisor, Paid Social will work closely with their superiors to ensure expertise is leveraged throughout the teams.
Responsibilities
• Direct and manage the daily workflow of all paid social campaigns, including proposal development, campaign activation & maintenance, and post-buy recaps
• Interface with Strategy and Activation media teams to respond to client briefs, build strategic campaign plans, communicate service offerings, and to identify and deliver new solutions in a collaborative fashion
• Invest in the development of junior team members through regular 1:1 meetings, identifying career development opportunities, being a sounding board for questions, building a technical-based skill-set
• Compile data across several social media platforms and work in collaboration with the Analytics team to create weekly/monthly reports, including analysis for insights, optimizations and future strategy development
• Adopt established account management standards and enhance campaign best practices
• Exhibits solid communication skills in order to effectively present strategic and tactical plans to clients and internal teams
• Monitor the latest trends in social media, including advertising formats, channels and technologies in order to improve campaign performance and provide recommendations on how clients can best leverage new tools and services
• Champion and facilitate communication and collaboration within the team and the agency
• Own the work and drive amazing results
• Participate in regular knowledge share sessions to present and learn new strategies for optimizing and enhancing campaign performance
Qualifications
• Four-year college degree
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Ability to organize and manage detailed work, as well as work independently and balance multiple tasks
• 4+ years of integrated experience managing multi-channel social campaigns
• Working knowledge of social analytical tools
• Proficiency in social FMPs and other social API technologies such as 4C, Sprinklr, Brand Networks, PowerEditor, Ads Manager (Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat), etc.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office solutions especially Excel
• 2+ years with increasing levels of responsibility within an agency or media company
• 1+ years of people management experience (or mentorship with increasing responsibilities for the growth of junior team members); managerial responsibilities in account management/client services team is desired but not required for the right candidate
• Portfolio management of paid media for a large brand (over $1MM campaign media budgets) ideal
