Description
In collaboration with all departments, you will own the creation of all visuals used to sell Colossal. You’ll be part of Colossal’s in-house marketing department, but also work on projects for the company’s clients. You will work closely with the Sales Team, Acquisitions Department, Founders and Managing Director. This is a leadership role, reporting directly to the Managing Director. You are the “get shit done” superstar with a tough exterior and creative interior.
OVERVIEW: This is a hands-on position at a small, but rapidly growing company where you’ll wear many hats. Colossal is a fast-paced environment, where projects are constantly evolving. You’ll juggle multiple projects and requests at a time, and must be comfortable switching gears. Your mission will be to own our brand’s client facing visual identity and orchestrate all things creative, telling our story, building trust with our clients along the way.
A great deal of your time will be spent perfecting the aesthetic and auditing of all collateral which includes client pitch decks, the website, some social platforms, sales sheets and internal multi-purpose materials. You will also proactively suggest new collateral that will support sales.
Your core teammates will consist of a copywriter/content manager and you will manage at least one designer.
While this is not a new role, you will be tasked with further defining it and making it your own.
Ultimately, what you do must always tie back to how does what you create, drive sales. Which means while we are looking for a creative superstar, you must be able to stay on deadline, within budget, brief and within the Colossal wheelhouse of services.
Since this role is also responsible for client-facing pitch work, there will be opportunities for senior-level client contact so superior communication skills and natural presenter talents are a plus.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop in-house creative collateral such as monthly newsletters, social posts, and website content, including blog posts and case studies of client work. You will perform regular audits of all materials to ensure they’re up to date, and consistently respond to internal team requests for revisions and updates as needed. And also make constant suggestions of new visuals that will help sell Colossal to our advertising clients.
Oversee the company website, ensuring content is up to date and the design is on-point and fully-responsive. You will also lead website refreshes as needed, working with an outside development team when needed.
Brainstorm client campaign concepts (in response to RFPs and new business pitchest) that represent the values of the Colossal brand. You will lead design on concept mockups and presentation decks.
