Job Title:
Junior Associate, Program Management
Job Summary:
As a Jr. Program Manager you will play a key role in delivering award winning experiences to our clients.
You will learn how to manage complex engagements to an acceptable level of risk by balancing scope, time, cost and quality while maintaining a positive environment that promotes individual development and high performance standards. You will be exposed to varied areas of our business, ranging from marketing and advertising solutions to developing complex commerce systems.
Responsibilities:
• Provides project management support to project/program leadership by helping to manage day-to-day project delivery, track issues and risks, and support scope management.
• Develops and tracks project plans for small or mid sized tracks of projects.
• Participates in risk identification and mitigation planning. Follow up to support and track execution of mitigation plan.
• Assists Project Managers in managing client relationships and preparing for client meetings. Plans and executes client workshops and meetings. Develops relationships with appropriate client stakeholders. Provides day-to-day contact for client on track related communications.
• Distinguishes between functional and non-functional requirements, and breaks down requirements to smaller components in establishing a low level plan
• Acts as project administrator supporting creation of PMO artifacts, such as status and budget metric reports for client communication. Track and drive resolution of project management tools such as issues and assumptions.
• Clarifies and communicates project objectives and success criteria.
• Performs analysis for requirements planning, business process reengineering, etc. efforts
• Maintains awareness of the current industry environment that shapes opportunities for client solutions (i.e. news events, trends, mergers, etc.).
• Assists proposal (RFI, RFP, etc) creation efforts
• Participates in key initiatives such as Learning & Development, and Internal Capabilities
• Documents and facilitates gathering and use of project best practices across the PM Domain
• Occasional overnight or overseas travel may be required
Experience Guidelines:
• Less than 1 year of professional work experience excluding internships
• Internship experience a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, negotiating, influencing, facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision making, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven mentoring, and team-building skills.
• Ability to solve problems with keen instincts and organizational experience.
Education:
4+ years of education required
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field desired or equivalent military experience
