Job Description
Ubisoft, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is seeking a highly talented, self-driven, detail-oriented, strategic and creative marketing analytics Senior Manager to support its Marketing Analytics functions and help defining a comprehensive consumer journey.
The manager’s primary role will be to generate insights about customers, markets, competitors and campaign effectiveness, to measure and support business decisions.
The ideal candidate will have experience planning and measuring campaign performance, and will be able to work closely with senior management to interpret findings. The manager will also work closely with teams across the company including CRM, Consumer Research, Strategic Planning and Business Intelligence.
Responsibilities:
• Manage a team of marketing data analysts and provide guidance in their day to day activities.
• Work closely with marketing teams and agencies to define key performance metrics, design reports and identify trends and opportunities across media, social and web activities.
• Measure multi-channel media performance, and provide data analysis on insights and recommendations on driving effective campaigns against goals, objectives, and spend
• Be able to synthesize data from various sources and deliver actionable insights based on both qualitative and quantitative sources.
• Use database technology to support marketing teams in implementing successful marketing strategies and tactics. Predict and understand user patterns through metric and statistical analysis. Recommendations will be based on data mining of large, complex data sets.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to build a sustainable and scalable marketing analytics framework. Define best practices for campaign tracking and performance metrics, create playbooks and analytics training for marketing managers.
• Partner with Business Intelligence teams in building marketing data warehouse and reporting tools. Perform data management to enable good data governance and accurate reporting on various Business Intelligence solutions.
• Suggest improvements in tools and techniques to help scale the team
• Conduct ad hoc data analysis based on current teams’ needs and management priorities
Qualifications
Ubisoft seeks high-performing individuals with analytical minds and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ideal candidates are self-starters who can manage their time effectively and educate themselves while contributing to marketing investments performance.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in a technical or quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering), Master’s preferred
• Minimum 7 years of professional related experience, including management responsibilities
• In depth knowledge of SQL, Tableau and Excel - experience in programming and with SAS, SPSS or comparable statistical modeling tool is a plus
• Experience in defining/designing/building/managing a data warehouse is a plus
• Strong quantitative skills, and experience utilizing scientific analytic methods, qualitative methods, and quantitative analysis techniques, as well as predictive modeling
• Demonstrated success presenting complex research data (both qualitative and quantitative) in a clear and compelling manner that inspires action
• Experience with ad serving platforms (Double Click) and CRM solutions is a plus
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in top-tier consulting, venture capital, investment bank or media agency is a plus
