Job Summary
Responsible for new sales account development within an established geographic territory for a set of UCC products and services.
Job Description
• Responsible for developing and managing customer relationships for assigned accounts in designated market (s) in order to gain strategic positioning with decision makers, retain existing UCC revenue and attain additional UCC business.
• Develops and implements actions to create additional opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell accounts to increase overall total customer spend. Assists in creating account plans and strategies to win new business from both new as well as existing customers.
• Learns and develops further knowledge of new technologies and selling points. Enhances expertise in the company's product application technologies.
• Provides accurate and detailed weekly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities in order to meet or exceed sales quota expectations.
• Identifies new UCC sales opportunities by contacting prospective customers in the form of cold calling, premise visits, networking, lead generation, proposal submission, and customer appointments.
Qualifications
Experience
• 5+ yrs
• Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
• Field of Study: Business, marketing, or similar
Other Job Requirements
• Prefer sales experience in the telecom industry, selling UCC services
• Experience in strategic, technical, and business communications application sales
• Experience with SalesForce forecasting system preferred. Target Account Selling (or equivalent) is desired.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in selling to the close
• Self-motivated, pro-active, results-oriented professional with an ability to work with minimum direction and ability to provide assistance to sales force.
• Proficient in MS office products: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Requires at least 50% or more of time conducting sales activities outside of the office.
