The job:
The Associate Manager, Audience Engagement, Newsletters will work closely with Manager, Audience Engagement to execute on strategy to support audience and revenue growth through email and affiliate marketing efforts.
You will:
• Create, develop, and test new user acquisition and retention strategies to increase newsletter list size
• Drive the development and execution of email marketing calendar
• Streamline processes to optimize all aspects of newsletter campaigns, from content planning through deployment
• Utilize prior performance and analytics to optimize key traffic and revenue metrics including CTR, open rates, engagement, and retention
• Develop insights through analysis and make recommendations to guide decision-making
• Support internal and external partnerships to meet various business goals
• Set up affiliate marketing promotions and tracking to increase e-commerce revenue. Influence product and offer selections as well as messaging strategy
• Drive innovation and change through business knowledge, creative ideas and strong relationships
• Support the testing and development of new email capabilities including segmentation, personalization, recommendations, and creative improvements
• Demonstrate a strong knowledge of external competitor activities and market trends to recommend overall program enhancements
• Become the subject matter expert on email campaign operations – distribute, communicate and apply best practices and learnings to continually improve results
Job Requirements:
• 2-5 years online marketing experience, demonstrating success in managing high-volume email marketing from concept to completion
• Results-driven with exceptional detail and knowledge around metrics and ROI analysis
• Comfortable using data and analytics to guide your decisions and strategic priorities
• Ability to synthesize results into email marketing enhancement recommendations
• A self-starter who is proactive and is driven by success
• Flexibility and agility to adapt to changing and evolving business requirements and objectives
• Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities + writing and communication skills
• Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, Google Analytics)
• A team player with effective time management, organizational and leadership skills
• BA/BS degree
