Our Clinical Solutions RCC team focuses on selling:Elsevier’s well recognized and industry leading EduCode Coding, Clinical Documentation Improvement, Physician Doc Briefs, Reimbursement and Regulatory Essentials Curricula along with Competency Assessment Tools, Life Sciences Education, and Elsevier Performance Manager into the healthcare provider market.
Elsevier Clinical Solutions Organizational Overview: The Clinical Solutions Division uses its industry-leading intellectual property and content to create Clinical and Drug Reference, Patient Engagement, Performance Management, Workflow and Decision Support products for healthcare professionals across a range of practice settings and commercial organizations. These products and tools aid in disease management, medication error reductions, workflow improvements, effective patient management and economic analysis and cost control.
Your Responsibilities:
• Market, sell and promote Elsevier’s Revenue Cycle, Coding and Compliance (RCC), E-learning Products and Learning Management Solutions to strategic accounts that include Hospitals, Health Systems, and Health Care Networks in the territory
• Effectively demonstrate the capabilities of Elsevier’s RCC and Learning Management Solutions to Chief Compliance Officers, HIM and Revenue Cycle Executives, CFO’s and other RCC related Committee’s and groups
• Negotiate and manage the contract approval process from inception until final signature/execution
• Responsible for prospecting new customers as well as managing a list of existing accounts in assigned territory
• Cooperate and align with various Elsevier Clinical Solutions sales teams to cross-sell products within the territory
• Support and leverage Elsevier’s RCC channel partners within region to drive new business, as well as retain renewals
• Provide ongoing quality and value added service to existing accounts, assuring resources are mobilized in support of client needs in order to maximize contract renewals and establish revenue from referrals
• Provide management with requested reports detailing prospect lists, solid action plans and revenue forecasting data
• Plan and maintain an efficient and cost effective travel schedule that coordinates and maximizes product exposure for optimal sales opportunities
• Actively utilize in-house resources in order to stay abreast of product developments, system enhancements, marketing programs, and company performance
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and industry trends in ever changing healthcare marketplace
• Provide management with market feedback regarding product, pricing, and service enhancements needed to remain competitive with our customers
• Become proficient in the Miller Heiman sales methodology, actively utilize Siebel CRM for sales activity, order entry and funnel management, and provide accurate and timely sales reports
Our Requirements:
• 5+ years of professional sales experience; healthcare experience highly preferred; experience in HIM/Revenue Cycle/Compliance products desirable
• History of achieving and exceeding sales targets required
• Must be comfortable and proficient with web-based delivered solutions; strong technical skills necessary
• Proven ability to communicate and negotiate at all levels within an organization both verbally and in writing, including group presentations
• Strong presentation skills are a must
• Must display solid organizational skills, the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and work successfully with limited supervision
• Candidates must be available for travel in assigned territory 50% of their time
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude are a must
• Four year Bachelor’s degree required
