Whom we are looking for?
As the PaaS Product Manager you will manage the customer data integration and data science capabilities of the new Life Sciences platform. Your key task will be to work with customers to prioritize platform capabilities that will drive new revenues.
You will work closely with the Platform Product Manager to ensure we prioritize effectively. You will also work closely with Professional Services to evangelize the platform and act as the go-to person for PaaS pre-sales and post-sales support. You may also need to manage technical teams delivering custom solutions on top of the platform.
This role requires a solid foundation in product management and experience working in customer services delivery. As the PaaS Solutions Product Manager you will play a key role in ensuring we develop a strong position in this market.
Preferred location for this role is London Wall, but role can also be based in Frankfurt or Amsterdam.
You can expect around 30-40% of travel time.

On this role you will be responsible for:
• Product Management
◦ Understand customer needs for PaaS solutions in Life Sciences and translate them into prioritized requirements that can be delivered by the Platform team under the direction of the Platform Product Manager. Deliver appropriate thought leadership materials and presentations in the evolving semantic / Big Data / Cognitive Computing area for Life Sciences.
• Pre-Sales
◦ Ensure that Sales and Professional Services get the Pre-Sales support needed to convert opportunities to paid engagements. Work with them to build and maintain a customer pipeline.
• Post-Sales
◦ Ensure that effective documentation and support materials are in place for consumers of the platform
• Partner Management
◦ Assist in the selection, on boarding and management of partners utilizing the platform
• Platform as a Service
◦ Understand the PaaS data integration business and how to position the platform in customer engagements and with respect to competitor offerings
What you should bring:
• Experience in Product Management or Professional Services in the Life Sciences domain, preferably involving Platform as a Service. Informatics and/or Data Science background. Experience of Linked Data and/or text analytics.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management or professional services in the Life Sciences industry.
• Prior experience of delivering PaaS information solutions to Pharma companies would be an advantage.
• Degree or equivalent in a Life Sciences discipline
• Strong interpersonal skills, strong time management & organizational & communicational skills as well as the ability to influence others.
• Fluent spoken and written English, conversational German is a plus.
