The person in this position performs functions to manage and coordinate field installations of products and associated equipment. Plans, coordinates, and manages both scheduled and unscheduled field maintenance, as well as software and hardware upgrades.
Essential Job Functions:
• Responsible for mentorship, evaluations, conflict resolution and recognition of the staff to maintain highly motivated and engaged employees.
• Responds to customer inquiries on the telephone, through on-line networks, and in person.
• Coordinates and distributes all field service bulletins and product upgrades to staff and customers as applicable.
• Completes, maintains, and processes pertinent paperwork and records.
• Plans and schedules levels of support according to product release schedules.
• Assists in the final testing of new products.
• Works along with the Parts Manager and Customer Order Supervisor to requisitions replacement parts and supplies.
• Interface, as required or directed, with all government regulating bodies, including but not limit to the regional gaming authorities.
• Assists Regional Directors as needed.
• Plans directs and oversees field service and installation technicians
• Monitors and coordinates maintenance of company service vehicles
• Provides on-site (casino) leadership, advice, and technical support when necessary
• Coordinates with SG sales staff and casino personnel to determine installation requirements, and set installation dates and times
• Maintains and coordinates Installation Calendar on a daily basis
• Prepares and maintains documentation relative to field service
• Coordinates with Warehouse and Installation Team personnel for the timely delivery of associated equipment
• Prepares RMA reports as required
Position Requirements
Qualifications
Education:
Associate’s degree or higher in a technical field (electronics preferred) or equivalent training and experience
Required Experience:
• 2+ years as a Field Service Technician
• Project management experience necessary
• Three to five years’ experience supervising in a technical or service environment
• Must be familiar with SG products and services
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Capable of understanding all aspects of game percentage sheets, and other technical documents
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Good management and organizational skills
• Good computer skills including “Word”, “Excel”, and “Access”

Office and Casino environment.

• May require weekend and evening hours.
• The work conditions are representative and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations
• Travel as needed, between 25-50% at times
