Create and implement a digital marketing/social media strategy. Facilitate day-to-day management, engagement and growth of all digital marketing channels and website presence to drive and track leads and revenue. Help create and assure quality of content on all digital platforms. Work with internal teams to ensure that messaging is consistent with brand and program goals. Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and additional channels that may be deemed relevant. Manage websites and contribute to website SEO strategy, navigation and content, linking and ranking. Optimize content on website to increase market relevance, traffic, conversions, and rankings. Collect and maintain online analytics for digital marketing channels. Provide reporting on campaigns weekly, monthly, quarterly on website and social media analytics.
Responsibilities:
• Create and implement a social media strategy including the website. Manage various campaigns, including the template designs, calls-to-action, and content used in campaigns. This includes monitoring behaviors such as past email engagement and website interactions (content downloads, site page visits, etc.).
• Manage Analytics (ie. analytics platforms) configuration, dashboards and reporting per best practices.
• Develop and maintain standardized reporting and metrics across all web marketing functions, including but not limited to: web traffic and performance, web site quality gap analysis such as broken link and page load time reports.
• Track conversion points and interpret data to increase effectiveness.
• Coordinate tags and tracking parameter implementations.
• Assist with website behavior and customer experience analysis through insights from analytics.
• Provide post-test analysis of A/B tests (from hypothesis creation to influencing creatives to identifying success metrics).
• Synthesize information from web analytics, usability testing, changing business goals, and emerging web content practices to continually optimize content effectiveness and discoverability.
• Ensure visuals and content are on-brand and align with web style guidelines.
• Create and maintain web pages in a manner that drives search engine optimization (SEO) efforts.
• Serve as primary resource for publishing homepage and corporate-related content and multimedia. Assist internal web contributors with maintaining website content using a CMS. Provide CMS support as required.
• Ensure all content is supported by internal stakeholders according to a defined maintenance plan.
• Coordinate with marketing and other channel partners to support campaigns, promotions, and cyclical events.
• Assist with QA/testing of webpages.
• In-depth experience with digital marketing platforms, including Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Google Tag Manager, retargeting solutions, etc.
• Understanding of lead processes and data from marketing automation platform
Qualifications:
• 5+ years managing corporate B2B websites. Social media programs a plus. 1-3 years experience with Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop.
• Significant experience with Analytics (certification required). Experience with AdWords management and reporting (certification is a plus).
• Implementation and management of analytics tags with a tag management solution (e.g. Google Tag Manager).
• Knowledge of online communities, including blogs, social networks, virtual worlds, mobile and other emerging digital marketing trends preferred. (Examples include but are not limited to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google+, Instagram and Pinterest.)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.) and its editing tools.
• Working knowledge of marketing automation software (Eloqua preferred) for e-mail marketing such as Eloqua, and content management systems such as Site Core, and analytics software such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics.
• Experience in advanced web analytics methodologies such as experimentation and testing, competitive analysis, surveys and market research.
• Using strong analytical skills to provide insights as well as recommendations for changes and convince key decision makers of business benefits of the proposed solutions.
• Ability to analyze customer behavior using available data to influence ideas for high value website changes.
• Competent in HTML and basic CSS, Javascript and JQuery, proficient with CMS/web publishing tools, experience with Microsoft.NET (Teamsite preferred).
• Understanding of web design/development concepts and processes
• Experience in website information architecture and page layout planning; creating and managing production schedules, wireframes, and requirements documentation
• Proven experience building test and learn plans that continuously improve program engagement and effectiveness, with a heavy focus on lead generation initiatives strongly preferred.
• Self-starter and ability to work effectively with geographically dispersed team.
• Strong communication skills, must be a proficient writer and editor with strong knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation, and with good editorial judgement.
• Strong project management knowledge and prioritization, with the ability to deliver multi-faceted projects on time and on budget.
• Analytical and able to derive meaning from data through testing and email optimization.
• Good attention to detail that results in high-quality, on-time work that adheres to brand guidelines.
• Brings enthusiasm for the tasks at hand to his/her work, as well as a sense of creativity and an interest in continual improvement.
• Ability to proactively recommend solutions to potential problems and to develop plans for addressing problems on the fly when necessary.
