Job Summary:
Assist in the development, distribution and upkeep of marketing collateral to support sales efforts for our West region airport portfolio
Position Overview
The Marketing Coordinator will ideate, execute and deliver high-quality marketing materials to our sales staff, agencies and clients with a primary focus on our western region portfolio of airports. The successful candidate will have the ability to create high-quality presentations and collateral materials using strong visuals backed by the data and insights needed to effectively market our products and services.
The position requires experience with PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign/Photoshop and marketing research programs such as Nielsen, Scarborough and Kantar.
The top 5 skill-sets for this position are;
1. Ideation– The creative thinking needed to craft a story/marketing strategy promoting our brand/products/concepts.
2. Research – Ability to provide the data that supports the ideation. Nielsen, Kantar, Internet, etc.
3. Spec Art – Ability to create photo-realistic renderings using Photoshop for clients to visualize our products and ideas.
4. Presentation Development – Strong Powerpoint and InDesign skills to develop pitch kits and collateral combining the ideation, visuals and supporting research.
5. Communication – Work as part of a Nation wide team to provide our sales staff, agencies and clients with high quality/effective marketing materials.
Role Responsibilities
• Develop marketing collateral, client proposals and presentations
• Utilize various marketing research tools such as Kantar and Nielsen
• Organize, update, release and archive marketing collateral on an on-going basis
• Provide client, category and industry research and insights
• Provide support to sales teams and help formulate innovative marketing strategies
• Present marketing concepts to sales teams
Required Qualifications
• Experience in, or understanding of Media, Marketing or a related field.
• Ability to use Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Powerpoint and Microsoft Excel
• Understanding of research and applicable use of marketing tools licensed by CCA
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills with an emphasis on detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organization, planning, multi-tasking and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced work environment
• Understanding of social media helpful
• Basic photography skills helpful
Education
• 2 year degree preferred
