The Opportunity
This role is a unique opportunity to maximize the success of Autodesk’s investments in our Sales and Marketing Teams and the technology, processes and data that supports them. It requires the management candidate to focus the business on Marketing Automation process optimization, productivity, technology, and successful roll out and adoption. This person will manage a team of project managers, process engineers, and business analysts dedicated to delivering the top priorities of the Marketing organization.
You’ll have the opportunity work with a team of highly motivated and high performing people. The job is challenging, will require you to grow, and will require you to consistency interact and influence Autodesk leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This individual would be responsible for:
• Working with Sales & Marketing Directors to define, prioritize and drive the long term strategy and vision of our marketing productivity tools and overlaying processes
• Build an aspirational vision for Autodesk’s MarTech Stack – both at scale and for account based marketing
• Build a roadmap to get Autodesk to the vision above
• Be an outgoing, available marketing advocate throughout Autodesk, fostering important relationships with our sales, marketing, product and IT organizations
• Grow the members of your team, ensuring a high level of trust and engagement amongst all employees
Critical Competencies / Minimum Requirements:
• Experience working in or directly with sales
• Strong financial and analytical skills
• Strong influencing skills; comfort with negotiating and driving timely decisions (rather than consensus) when required
• Must have SalesForce and Marketo Experience
• Experience presenting and influencing executives
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills, comfortable presentation and speaking skills
• Successful ability to manage conflict with positive results
• Strong political acumen, diplomacy, and emotional intelligence
• Ability to comfortably work in a fast paced, ambiguous and event driven environment
• Experience in an Inside Sales environment
• 7+ years of successful management experience (with references)
• 15% Global Travel
Education
• BS in a related field
