Requirements and Competencies
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Advertising or related business field
• Must have at least 5 years of marketing experience
• Must have at least 2 years of experience in advertising/creative development
• Must have at least 1 year of media experience
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with an ability to adapt communication to varied audiences and levels of management
• Ability to manage and prioritize deadlines of diverse and high-volume projects
• Demonstrates strong adaptability and sense of urgency in a fast paced environment
• Enthusiastic, confident advertising leader with ability to motivate and manage a team with diversified areas of expertise
• Proficient in Microsoft office programs: Specifically Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet SEA Company driving guidelines
• Lift, carry, push and pull up to 5 lbs. on an occasional basis
• Work both indoors and outdoors, exposed to a variety of weather conditions
• Perform the following physical activities on a frequent basis; stand, walk, climb, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead and reach overhead, simple hand grasp and fine manipulation (computer/phone work)
• Work a flexible schedule/hours based on business need to include occasional night/weekends
Primary Responsibilities
• Accountable for management, elevation and development of advertising campaigns for domestic & international markets for two parks
• Lead creative & campaign DNA development for new attractions & consumer events
• Trafficking of all advertising creative to key media channels
• Daily management of brand/content team & advertising agencies
• Work with cross disciplines at the park and corporately to champion brand integration through effective communication, excellence in project management and elevation of brand integrity
• Assist Director with media planning & flowchart optimizations
• Daily management of advertising production & media budgets
• Spearhead film and photo shoots to build assets to support advertising creative development and use in the brand library
• Manage, motivate and evolve a team of marketing professionals with expertise in brand, photography, videography and social content
• Evaluate traffic of advertising through key agency, and provide monthly performance recaps on creative engagement, influence on conversion and in-market auditing
• Lead the creative development process for all marketing consumer facing channels such as social platforms, websites, in-park signage, retail, promotions and outreach
