Description
Position Title: Associate Director, Design Services
Classification: Exempt
Department: Marketing
Reports to: Vice President, Marketing & Customer Experience
The Associate Director, Design Services will liaise with internal and external stakeholders for all design/creative service projects and needs; build trust and manage the end-to end projects that span the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Plan and budget projects; liaise with internal client teams and external design agency to
plan and deliver quality projects on time.
•Lead cross-department production meetings to manage, update and provide bi-weekly
status report to creative leads and stakeholders.
•Gain an understanding of the internal clients’ business objectives and projects and utilize
that knowledge to establish credibility with client counterparts, and help drive
recommendations based on the business goals.
•Take lead on establishing end-to-end creative services processes from originating request,
providing feedback, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all creative assets,
delivering assets, and aligning to all branding and creative best practices.
•Review/manage trafficking and proper sign-off from internal team and client.
•Project manage the various stages of the creative /design process for both traditional and digital assets from setting up the briefing meetings with stakeholders to interpreting
strategic and creative direction and feedback to the creative agency.
•Drive compliance/adherence to brand; build lines across internal/external teams,
agencies, third party partners.
•Ensure project tracking, invoice processing as it relates to the external agency.
•Adhere and govern projects to align to brand style guidelines.
•Establish internal asset management system.
•Miscellaneous duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
At least 3 - 5 years of advertising industry experience with solid experience in servicing and managing internal client and external-facing resources; proficient in project management software for creative services; knowledge of industry-specific terms relating to digital media and video; proficient in the creative services vocabulary including Adobe Creative Suite; strong understanding of branding and visual execution; strong communication skills, attention to detail, a solution-oriented attitude, ability to multitask; Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, and a passion for music arts or culture
