Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assists in Managing Facilities Department: schedule work, monitor staff, managers labor budget
2. Assists in Managing Loading Dock: coordinated dock operations
3. Assists in Managing Inventory: coordinators inventory control while maintaining optimum efficiency
4. Responsible for Safety Processes within Department
Required Qualifications:
1. A minimum education level of: High School graduate or the equivalent
2. A minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
3. Must maintain lift certification(s).
4. Must be able to be lift/carry 51-100 pounds and work in difficult positions. This includes frequent sitting, standing, walking, climbing, twisting/bending/stooping, reaching, use of fine finger movements, hand/eye coordination, pushing and pulling.
5. Knowledge of event set-up and loading dock operations.
6. Knowledge of and experience using proper safety techniques, procedures and equipment.
7. Strong leadership and supervisory skills; takes initiative; ability to make quick decisions to complete job duties
8. Ability to establish, support and maintain a high standard of productivity in the department.
9. Must possess effective people skills and display an attitude of cooperation and willingness to assist.
10. Ability to establish daily reports and schedules.
11. Effective oral and written communication skills.
12. Must be able to work varied shifts, weekdays, weekends, holidays and additional hours as venue schedule requires.
13. Proficient with Microsoft Office with the ability to learn required business systems.
14. Ability to maintain an on-going list by priority of projects and tasks, to assume timely and effective solutions to unanticipated client focused issues.
15. Ability to consult with and advise clients and their representatives on the center’s equipment and layout. Ability to work from meeting planner’s notes, contracts and event orders regarding event set-up and operation.
