JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for analyzing finance and billing business processes / requirements. Delivers on planning, designing and configuring new software. Analyzes, configures, tests, and assists with the integration of new applications. Documents all development activity. Manages a team of integration analysts and acts as a key contributor in complex programs / projects.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Contribute to the Company vision of being the industry leader in customer service through quality, commitment, courtesy and teamwork. Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
Advise on, gather and define current and future business requirements that best reflect customer needs, based on product capabilities and best practices, ensuring high business value and influencing the interconnections between the business processes, technology, data and people.
Ability to collaborate well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources. Facilitates the business requirements and solution mapping workshops. Conducts analysis to determine configuration / integration needs.
Researches, writes and edits documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, technical manuals and formal recommendations and reports.
Leverage business and technology knowledge and experience, using this experience and intuition to identify requirements, assess capability gaps and propose possible solution approach and/ or new capabilities that the project, iteration or work effort should deliver. Keeps current with technological developments within the industry.
Provides technical leadership throughout the design process and guidance with regards to practices, procedures and techniques.
Leads team of analysts and solution architects to effectively deliver on requirements and design. Actively managing resources and delegating appropriately to complete deliverables on aggressive schedules with competing priorities.
Assists in tracking and evaluating performance metrics. Ensures team delivers software/solution on time, to specification, and within budget.
Works with Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements.
Motivates and inspires others to action utilizing effective leadership skills including problem solving, team development.
Acts with honesty and integrity.
Performs other duties as requested by management
Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of the organization including managing through cross-business area or business unit prioritization discussions
Ability to develop and foster relationships with portfolio leaders and stakeholders, project managers, analysts and external partners
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements, including the ability to multi-task and effectively manage many competing priorities and deadlines
Ability to manage and grow tool sets and process governance around intake and portfolio planning processes
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills /Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, Cable billing system, etc.)

Displays knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, and skills and their application in the area of specified engineering specialty.
Deep understanding of Software Development Lifecycle and associated project methodologies (Waterfall/Agile)
Displays skills in process design. Presents and defends architectural, design, and technical choices to internal audiences.
Knowledge of all functions and related tasks in the area of customer relations
Knowledge of applicable products and services
Knowledge of general accounting and billing procedures
Vision ability close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus
Education
BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS or related field or equivalent work experience

• Collaborate to ensure proper coordination and understanding of requirements and activities related to the delivery of billing initiatives.
• Facilitate and support coordination of assessment and planning efforts across business and technology teams
• Identify, track, and help resolve cross-portfolio dependencies and conflicts
• Managing governance around intake and portfolio planning processes
• Manage intake and portfolio via internal tool sets and reports
• Ensure compliance and alignment with Billing Roadmap and Billing Infrastructure team
• Strong analytical problem solving skills
• Ability and appetite to challenge the status quo, question the why and when and provide alternative solution options (tactical or strategic) to accomplish organizational/company objectives. Listens to and represents the recommendations and opinions of direct reports (and others) upward and outward as appropriate.
• Experience with managing large project portfolios and Agile Release planning
