Job Title and ID: Sales Compensation Analyst (17WD25313)
Location: San Francisco
NOTE: This is a full-time HOURLY position
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
• Perform and report on plan analytics including performance distribution, pay versus performance, excellence levels and Diamond Club.
• Document, maintain and administer sales contests and SPIFFs.
• Audit plan documentation, individual job profiles and sales compensation elements to ensure plan and program compliance and accuracy.
• Develop and maintain training materials for the Sales Comp Program and provide input into overall programmatic communication strategy.
• Maintain the content of the internal facing web sites and social groups including suggesting and posting new content, refreshing content, and directing content owners to update outdated materials.
• Maintain and develop Sales reporting including Peer Performance Groups and reporting, Sales Management reporting and individual commission statements.
• Develop and track program success using KPIs such as composite score from survey results, commission ARs, Plan rollout milestones
• Participate in annual sales compensation planning meetings. Provide guidance on analytics, system constraints and alternatives to achieve goals.
• Partner with the Global Commission team in the development of the long-term commission system strategy to ensure accurate and timely payments (plan implementation), actionable sales reports and dashboards, and best in class business processes.
• Partner with Sales Finance on the annual Plan Implementation, territory management and the quota allocation process.
Requirements:
• BA/BS or equivalent, MBA desirable
• 5+ years progressive analytical/program management or sales operations or finance experience
• General knowledge and appreciation of sales roles and the sales processes
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to influence desired results through indirect staff
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently to obtain results
• Demonstrated strong global perspective
• Strong Excel, Powerpoint, organizational and time management skills
• High energy, positive attitude and ability to motivate others
• Excellent oral and written skills required
• Strong presentation skills required including the ability to adapt style based on audience and present complex ideas
